Your responsibilities

• You will regularly plan and produce authentic social media content (Reels, Stories, short-form videos) both in front of and behind the camera, representing Mawave to the outside world.
• You will handle editorial planning, help develop creative content ideas and concepts, and brief and manage working students, including quality assurance.
• You will be responsible for the strategic and operational social media management of our in-house channels on LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok, with a focus on brand building, reach, and lead generation.
• You will stay up to date on social media trends to incorporate them into your content ideas.
• You will independently create visual assets (e.g., Reel and video thumbnails, LinkedIn slides) and editorial posts (e.g., LinkedIn posts).
• You will actively manage our community (comments and DMs) in close collaboration with the in-house marketing team.
• You will work closely and cross-functionally with marketing, PR, HR, and sales, and provide on-site support for events, shoots, and productions as needed.
• You will analyze relevant social media KPIs and derive actionable insights to optimize content and performance.

Your profile

• You enjoy being in front of the camera and can win people over to yourself and the Mawave brand with your authentic personality (please feel free to link your own social media channels in your application).
• You have at least 2 years of experience in social media management, ideally in an agency or digital environment.
• You are proficient in using tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign and Photoshop), Meta Business Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
• You think across channels and have a deep understanding of branding, storytelling, and community building.
• You have a keen eye for current social media aesthetics and have already applied them in a professional capacity.
• You are highly proactive, capable of working independently, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team
• Ideally, you have an eye for photography and are interested in providing occasional on-site event support in Munich
• Fluent written and spoken German (C1) and English (B2)
